One of the UK’s most loved Charities is seeking a Head of Digital Product Development to drive digital product strategy and work closely with the charities senior
leaders in order to discover and develop all user facing digital products, through management of the internal
delivery team and third party agencies.
Key Accountabilities / Objectives
Lead the Digital Product Development team which will include Digital product, Agile Development and Engineering
Create a strong team with the confidence to embrace change and foster a culture of partnership,
consistent delivery, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
To be accountable for the successful and impactful delivery of all Digital Product initiatives whether by
the internal team or any third party contracted to provide a service
Build strong relationships with all stakeholders and champion collaborative, agile , and user centred
Combine strategic thinking and operational delivery to envisage and embed a user centric approach and
a culture of learning and experimentation in order to deliver innovative, user focused digital products
that are usable, valuable and feasible.
Support your direct reports in defining and embedding best practice standards and processes for the
delivery of digital products in their respective disciplines
The Head of Digital Product Development will have:
Experience of leading digital product delivery teams in a complex and challenging business
Deep understanding of the principles and processes behind effective digital product management
Skilled and adaptable communicator – able to flex style between coach, advisor, manager and challenger
Outstanding solid product management skills – ability to engage, motivate and deliver organisational
change to create a user-centric and evidence driven product delivery function
